On behalf of the Eastwood St Andrews Committee, we hope you are enjoying the summer holidays and had a great Chrissy.   

The Committee would like to thank you all for your support in 2024, we know it was a very challenging year again with all the wet weather.

We continue to work with councils and the association to try and get as many games as possible for our teams.  We will continue to lobby council for improved playing conditions including but not limiting to,

> Better playing surface management.

> And we are in the process of trying to secure a lighting upgrade to the bottom oval which will allow us to play mid-week games where there may be a need to catch up a game.

2025 Registration Details

Registrations are open on 10th January (with details included on our website www.eastwoodstandrews.org).

Please note we are registering through a new platform this year so everyone will need to update their pictures. You can still access the registration link through the play football site again this year, and the web link is https://www.playfootball.com.au/ it is just there is a new back-end platform being used.

With your photo, please make sure you have a headshot ready on your computer to upload before starting the process.

Team Allocations

As per previous years, the Club will be allocating junior players (apart from U6 and U7) to teams with like minded players.  The Committee is of the firm view that this will lead to better player development across all junior teams (as children will be in teams with players of the same or similar ability) leading to the children enjoying their soccer considerably more and enhancing their development in the sport we all love. 

There are compulsory team allocation sessions on Sundays in February/March, dates will be notified early in February.

Important dates for 2025 (please diarise these)

• On-line registrations open 10th January 2025
• Team Allocation / Grading Day – 9th March 11-1pm Eastwood Oval
• Coach & Managers information session if necessary – 24th March Club Eastwood @ 7pm
• We will again be using the Dribl system which I think most are now very familiar with.
• Kickstart training session for U6 to U8's will be held on a Monday night's this season starting 24th March
• Season starts on the weekend of the 5th of April, before Easter this year, and PL may even start on the weekend of 22nd March to take the pressure off any wet weather weekends allowing access to the synthetic fields for other competitions.
• Grand Finals are scheduled for the weekend of the 23rd of August with Division 1 GF's the weekend after (30th August weekend)

Dribl will be used by the association to inform you of game times and venues.
